321.331 Half-spike or tanged bowl lutes

Guinbri, lute. Composed of a tortoiseshell body mounted on a roughly formed wooden neck. The whole coloured red. The table a skin membrane. Two strings of fibre, attached to pegs inserted obliquely in the neck. One peg and bridge missing. Membrane defective. Delicate condition.
