One of a pair of leather men's sandals, wide and rounded at front, narrowing considerably between sole and heel, which is rounded. Surface of sole has a simple groove following the other edge. Sole has tooling and studs at toe, heel and instep. Sole and heel formed of several layers of leather nailed together all over. Extra circular pieces below instep and ball of foot, and raised heel with metal tread. On upper side of sole a band of cream leather handstitched into a strap emerges between toes and extends to either side of foot and into slits at either side of heel.
