pendant (neck ornament (personal adornment))

Wooden chest ornament. Made of a single piece of wood, carved into the shape of a head with horns attached on each side. Eyes, nose, mouth and hairline on forehead incised, ears of horizontal shape, each with three tassels of short dyed red hair tufts bound with yellow orchid stem and suspended from twisted green cotton through a hole, and with a similar tuft attached to the chin. The top of the head has a hole pierced through which is tied a short loop of plaited strands of dark green, light green and pink cotton. The back of the head is part stained dark, the rest all lighter, natural.
