Small wooden shield of oval shape and plano-convex section, with a hand grip excavated out from the body of the shield. The face is engraved with a simple pattern resembling two H’s joined and set on their sides. This motif is incised with parallel grooves and painted black. It is outlined with red paint, and the remainder of the surface is painted white.

Collection Information

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
