Slide of carved printing blocks for prayers

The carved blocks shown in this photograph are a library of blocks. To make them, paper is laid on top of an ink block and rubbed down, then peeled off. Many were burned during the imvasian of 1950 or later in the cultural revolution of 1966-1976.
