Friends of the Horniman archive photograph album

One album containing photographs and negatives (mostly colour) of outdoor events run by the Friends of the Horniman between 1992 and 2006. This include photographs of the Friend's fete and craft fair (1992) to raise money for a toilet in the gardens for people with mobility problems; craft fairs in the Horniman conservatory; the Friends visit to Box Hill; Jim Dowd MP opening the Friends' Annual Art Fair in 1998; Tom Pope's retirement as treasurer of the Friends (2000); the Friends' Annual General Meetings (2002, 2003), the Friends' Annual Art Exhibitions (1993, 2003), various Friends outings, and the lighting of new lamps around the Horniman conservatory (1993). Also includes photographs of Friends Committee members Barbara Sutcliffe, Margaret Spooner, Philip Spooner, Margaret Lovett, Valerie Britton, Lynn Pakanowski, Doreen Beswick, Ann Wallace, Dawn Pope, Peter James, Peggy Hall, Clive Bell, Leslie Hall, Horniman librarian David Allen, Horniman Assistant Director Jennifer Beever, and Horniman Director Janet Vitmayer.
