A letter sent by Frederick Horniman to Joseph Kemp, dated 7 September 1899, thanking Mr Kemp for his donation of a sedan chair and old glass vase to the newly built Horniman Museum. Horniman then refers to Kemp's previous letter dated 25 August and expresses regret that Kemp would think he doubts Kemp's generousness in charging for work carried out by his company. Horniman goes on to express complete confidence in Kemp's work and hopes that their business relations remain agreeable.
