Oval paper label: 'G Jones, patent concertina manufacturer, 350 Commercial Road East.' 6.26" diameter, flat stained mahogany ends, fancy frets, bevelled (some right-hand damage), red leather backing. 21 keys: 10 each side + 1 air (one right-hand absent), broad tall bone buttons, bushed. Later leather straps with brass screws on mahogany hand bars, right-hand stamped: 'Defiance, GJ, Screwed Notes, London Make.' Five-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Round-end steel reeds in three quarter reed pans.
