Concertina, Vienna. English system. Green leather label with gilt letters: 'Adalb[ert], Suchan' on right-hand. '206.4' on left-hand. 6.63" diameter, pale rosewood ends, neat simple fretwork, fluted edge, name and number hole beneath buttons with grey card backing. 50 domed bone buttons: 25 each side, with black accidentals. All buttons are bone except for the following. On the end with the maker's name, in the row to the left, the 3rd white button from the name and the 7th white button in the row to the right (both with red stain) are elephant ivory. On the side with the mumber, the 7th white button in the left row and the 5th white button in the right row (which is red stained) are elephant ivory. Dark leather straps with brass screws. Five-fold black leather bellows, thin. Very slim round and riveted steel reeds in 3-ply pan, stamped 'Adalb Suchan Melofon Fabrik.' Reed chambers are fixed under action board, with round label: 'Adalbert Suchan Melofon-Berfertiger VII Spindlegrasse 1, in Wien.'
