Later black leather straps with Wheatstone-style claw clips, small nickel screws. Four-fold green leather bellows, solid gold star papers, silk on lower folds. Square-end nickel reeds, left-hand action has 'J Scates' signature; 'W Graham, Newcastle-upon-Tyne' repairer's label; and owner's name and the date 'Oct. 1853.'
