Anglo-German system. No serial number. Internal ink writing on action: 'Made by C Jeffries in 1874,' and on pan: 'Made by C Jeffries father 1874.' 6.25" diameter thick rosewood ends, simple fretwork, wood hand bars. 27 keys: 13 each side + 1 air, in 'two and a half row' arrangement. Worn bone buttons, loose. Later straps, two brass screws. Five-fold green leather bellows, unusual white and curlique papers. Round-end steel reeds, rectilinear reed pan.
