Marouvany, idiochord tube zither. The instrument is formed from a length of bamboo with a knot at both ends. There are six strings, divided into two groups of three, on one side only. On the other side is a large pointed oval opening. The strings are tensioned by small wooden bridges. The ends of the split strings are bound by a fibre lacing. The instrument is undecorated. Three bridges are missing. Cracking at the ends.
