Harmonium by Debain, Paris, 1840-50. Serial number 549. Front Ormolu Plaque: 'Debain a Paris.' Base is stamped: 'Debain, Place Lafayette, Paris 549.' Five register buttons, plaques absent. The piano keys are ivory faced with ebony accidentals. Leather-edged bellows with black embossed papers. Rectangular brass reed beds screwed to action, with double riveted brass tongues.
