The Horniman Museum will be closed from 24-26 December. The Horniman Gardens will be closed 25 December only.
Natural trumpet. Made of brass. Folded in two coils, the first of which is fitted with a tuning slide. There are three eyelets for attaching lanyards and banners. The mouthpiece is later. Length 18½ inches. Engraved: Eclipse /J. HIGHAM LTD./127 STRANGEWAYS/MANCHESTER/6 0 3 0 4.
