111.142 Cymbals

Cymbal of brass (one of a pair with M6.12.65/85a). Incised with three pairs of concentric circles around the dome. The cymbals are attached to eachother with a length of string that is threaded through a central hole in the apex of each dome.

Purchased from the Church Missionary Society in 1965. With tie-on CMS label: 'CYMBALS, USED BY/MISSIONARIES WHEN/PREACING IN THE STREETS./ COUNTRY: INDIA. No. 43'.
