Skeletal - taxidermy double preparation of domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris).
These “doubleprep” specimens by taxidermy company Gerrard's of London are half-skeletal and half-taxidermy. They were used as educational tools in the early 20th Century.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
