According to Edward Hart, writing on 12 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult female; right (no 2): adult male; nest and young. Obtained by me in Haddon's Hill Wood, Christchurch. Sexes allke. Summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
