Taxidermy case of adult male and adult female Common Pochard. According to Edward Hart, writing on 21 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult female, January 1891; right (no 2): adult male, January 1891. Shot by me in Christchurch Harbour'. Sexes differ; summer and winter plumage, male the same, female differ. Mounted by me'.
