Taxidermy case of adult male, adult female and immature male Arctic Skua. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 May 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult male, light form, November 1873, winter plumage; middle (no 2). immature male, August 1879; right (no 3): adult female, light form, August 1901, summer plumage. Shot by me in Christchurch Harbour. Sexes alike, summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
