Taxidermy case of six adult male and two adult female Goldcrest. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Bottom left (no 1): adult male, 1882; next above (no 2): adult male, 1882; next above (no 3): adult male, 1882; top left (no 4): adult male; 1882; top middle (no 5): adult male, 1882; top right (no 6): adult female, 1882; middle right (no 7): adult female, 1887; bottom right (no 8): adult male, 1882; nest, May 1887. Obtained by me in Grove Wood, Christchurch in 1882 and 1887. Sexes differ, summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
