Taxidermy case of adult male and three variety males of Song Thrush. According to Edward Hart, writing on 6 April 1927, 'Bottom left (no 1): variety, male, 1862; middle left (no 2): variety, male, 1898; top right (no 3): variety, male: 1876; bottom right (no 4): adult male, 1888. All four obtained by me in various gardens in Christchurch. Sexes alike; summer and winter plumage differ. Mounted by me'.
