Taxidermy case of adult male, adult female and two young European Nightjar (all adults missing). According to Edward Hart, writing on 7 April 1927, 'Top middle (no 1): adult male; left (no 2): adult female; bottom right (no 3): young. Shot by me on Grove Common, Christchurch, 1871. Sexes differ; male: summer and winter plumage differs; female: summer and winter plumage the same'.
