Rotton Pears/Rotton Peers

Satirical cartoon entitled ‘ROTTON PEARS/PEERS or The Head Gardiner with His Pruning Knife’, printed on paper. Depicts certain peers of the day as rotten pears dropping from a fruit tree. King George IV holds a sharp pruning knife. A key has been written on the reverse indicating some of those depicted as Lord Guy, the Marquis of Londonderry, the Duke of Wellington, Lord Eldon and Lord B. Published by S.
