Envelope printed in red and green ink on paper with six Chinese characters printed vertically in red ink against a green honeycomb framework, 'da fu gui, da shou kao' which translates as 'great wealth and honour, great long life'.
Envelopes of this type were possibly used in funerals for handing out to the guests, usually enclosed with sweets, handkerchief or a coin. As it was not intended to address any receivers on the envelope, the front was usually printed with designs.
