Album leaf painted with a scene of a wedding ceremony, depicting the bride and groom kneeling and presenting tea to two seated figures, possibly the groom's parents. The ceremony is witnessed by family members while four musicians play to one side. Watercolour and ink on pith. Artist unknown.

From an album entitled ‘A Chinese Mandarin, Life from the Cradle to the Grave’, brought from Shanghai by Capt. Geo. F. Thomas, of the China Tea Clipper ‘Omba’, which docked at Dover in1866.
