Most unusual European sword presentoir.The broad double edge blade is cut with 2 narrow fullers and struck with geometric devices. The steel crosspiece has down-turned quillons, and the swollen pommel is nicely facetted. The grip is bound with wire.
A presentoir was used to carve and serve meat at a formal banquet, and this example is unusually large.
