A single man's shoe of cream damask decorated with appliqued cloud design in black velvet on the toe, also embroidered with a 'shou' character (longevity) in beige and black silk threads. Edged with black satin rim. Lined with white cotton. Thick sole made of densely layered paper, reinforced with leather on underside. A wooden shoe last with Chinese inscriptions is placed inside to keep shoe shape.
