Woman's belt of blackened cane. Two dozen or so lengths of thin blackened cane bound together to form a circle. On the inside of the belt thus formed is metal coil wrapped around some pieces of the cane (possibly where the ends meet?). A label attached to the belt reads: 'Curator's gift. Women's belts. Palaung & Kachin. Note: Cane belt. Exhib. W. Hall.'
