Oblong lobed silk fan, kesi silk, stretched over a cane frame with a central rib secured with a ruyi, or stylised sceptre, -shaped gilt metal clasp, trimmed with patterned silk ribbon. The red silk leaf is decorated with applique rose blossom, which is painted on silk or paper. A stiffened white silk rosette with applique peony spray and scroll design,is attached to the central bottom of the fan leaf, extending to a wooden handle with carved lotus scrolls. The finial is missing.
