Oblong, lobed embroidered silk fan, stretched over a cane frame with a central rib which is slightly bent on the top and secured with a 'ruyi' shaped gilt metal clasp, trimmed with patterned silk ribbon and gold thread. A stiffen yellow silk rosette with applique peony spray and scrolls design, is loosely attached to the bottom. The red silk leaf is embroidered with peony and chrysanthemum blossom and five bats flying above, one of which is holding a swastika. Some damages at bottom. The handle is missing.
