Rectangular piece of barkcloth with black and red painted decoration. The edge of the textile is torn or cut at one longer side. The decoration divides the barkcloth into 2 sections, as the bands in each are differently patterned. The wider bands are black patterns on cream, and include bands, diagonals and chevrons. The red bands are narrower, paired, and consist of linked square outlines. There are 5 black bands and 2 red bands in each section.
