Hanuman

Polychrome painting on card depicting Hanuman holding up the mountain of herbs in his right hand, his left arm raised. His arms, legs and tail are painted green but his face and palms are pinkish. He wears a skin-tight buff jerkin to the waist and a pale pink dhoti below, with decorative scarves, breast cover, anklets and bracelets and with sashes hanging from the waist. A dagger in his belt. He is framed by a painted arch against a red background. The painting is mounted on a wooden block with metal fittings.
