Circular wooden lid for a container with a short round handle in the centre. This has been finished with a piece of decorative metal fretwork. There are small metal stars or flowers over the top of the lid, forming a diamond shape. Around the edge is a fretwork border or flowers or leaves. On the underside of the lid is a sweet sugary residue.
