Rectangular cream barkcloth with stencilled decoration in black and brown. The textile is decorated with a centre panel and several borders. The outermost border of short parallel lines is not present on all 4 sides. one of the borders consists of diamonds and triangles which create a voided x-shape pattern. Variations on this pattern are contain within several of the bands forming the panel. Halfway across the tapa is a fringe of plain cut barkcloth.
