On Weds 29 and Thurs 20 March, the Butterfly House, Animal Walk, Blue Badge Parking, Bandstand Terrace and Horniman Drive gates and path will be closed for resurfacing works. Please follow signs on site.
We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk.
Hat. High and circular, made of blue woollen cloth with four horns at the top and a complex embroidered ribbon decoration of flowers etc. joining them. There is a wide red band at the bottom which has rows of floral and waviform ribbon sewn onto it. It is edged in green. The hat is lined in printed cotton. Dia 7" (ap.); Ht. 19".
