Embroidered intials A.D. with a crown above is situated in right-hand bottom corner. 2 borders consist of embroidered dots on a woven textile. The 3 bobbin lace borders consist of motifs on a net ground. The inner 2 contain floral motifs. The one forming the outer edge is decorated with small dots and repeat foliate and wave motifs. These form a scalloped edge.
