Karagoz shadow figure of a man with a shaggy beard, possibly Canan. He wears no hat but his hair is tied up in a topknot. He carries a bag slung behind him from a shoulder strap. The legs, waist and neck are jointed and there is a socket in the neck for manipulating the puppet. The figure is made from pieces of parchment with painted and punched out details and decoration. Sections held together with vegetable fibre cord.
