Upright serpent, two straight bored-out tubes of wood, united by a uniform U-section, terminating in a flared wooden bell and a brass section forming a complete loop with a short angled detachable brass crook. Three brass keys, six ivory bushed finger holes. Brass bands at each joint. The crook appears to be a later replacement. Lacks mouthpiece.
