Long, rectangular piece of embroidered textile. The patterning comprises a row of two alternating geometric motifs, linked by two different motifs incorporating diamonds, set in a yellow ground. One is a black and white cross, set within a black square, with a square red centre (nine motifs in total). The other is a circular motif, executed in the same colours (11 in total, two adjacent to each other). One of the longer edges has a thin solid black line. The other has a narrow border of blackwork.
