Toy bird made with a core of vegetable fibre, shaped like a perching bird and wrapped with different coloured cotton threads. The bird has a red beak, neck-ring and tail ring, a white head, and black body and tail. A tuft of partly dyed vegetable fibres terminates the tail. A cotton string passes through the neck and emerges near the base of the tail with a tuffet representing the feet. The eyes are inked in.
