Clay-cutting wire. Thin copper wire with a rag at each end for holding while in use. Length 510mm.
Used for cutting the cake of clay into slices (each cake or "turtiţӑ" being equal of the quantity of clay necessary for making 60 pots). From each slice a ball of clay is made and "cut" on the potter's wheel.
