Shadow puppet, tholu bommalata, depicting Indra on a horse-drawn chariot, holding a bow and arrow and three-headed serpent. The figure is cut from one large piece of leather and two smaller bits, which may be later additions; the main piece is broken in many places and repaired by sewing. Decorated overall with polychrome pigments and pierced detailing. Mounted on split bamboo stick, (detached) not part of the acquisition.
