Clay pipe bowl in form of the head of a grinning man with chin-length hair and a round cap, with the pupils and eyebrows painted black. There are two inscriptions on the bowl: On the left side of the heel 'GAMBIER'; on the right side of the heel '426 / A PARIS'. There is also a stamped maker's mark with the initials JG on the base of the bowl.
