Tajik man’s sash comprising a square of false (machine-made) ikat in yellow, green, white, brown, blue and black acetate fabric. Decorated with two concentric squares of black chain stitch in straight and undulating lines. In each corner of the outer, and of the inner, squares there are green scroll-floral motifs. On either side of each green scroll-floral in the corners of the outer square is a blue scroll-floral motif. There is no hem.
