mask (dance & live theatre)

Headdress mask of soft wood. The mask is painted in black, white, and red over a hemispherical framework with a fringe of coarse yarn, over a bamboo dome. This is topped with a carving of two entwining snakes painted in stripes of white, black and red that joins at the base. They appear to represent the Banded Seakrait.
