Tubular skirt made from tabby-woven silk textile decorated with paired green or purple vertical stripes, alternating with weft ikat stripes. The paired stripes frame an apparently pink stripe (pink centre, orange sides). The ikat consists of 3 central zigzags created by sets of fine purple diagonals on a more pink ground. These are framed by zigzags created by sets of green diagonals on a more orange ground. Between this and 2 further green zigzags are smaller areas containing 2 further green zigzags (2 on one side near the central seam, 3 spaced on the other side in between). Close to the pink top and bottom band are 3 more purple zigzags, followed by a single green zigzag. Either side of the central seam (on a green stripe) are wider orange stripes. These are bisected by a narrower stripe with a dark pink centre and pale pink borders.
