Tubular skirt made from tabby-woven silk decorated with sets of brown and blue-black vertical stripes, alternating with weft ikat stripes. The ikat stripes are mainly decorated with alternating white, dotted X-shapes and yellow, dotted diagonals with a pink diamond-shape near each end. At top and bottom the blue-black ground changes to pink. The sets of stripes consists of 2 wider brown stripes separated by a blue-black stripe bisected by a white line. The textile has been hemmed along one selvedge.
