Cotton sampler, kain contoh, decorated in batik with 32 nitik patterns, which mimic weave patterns by creating short lines of pattern with the applied resist wax. Each pattern is enclosed within a rectangular border. The cloth has been dyed in dark blue and soga, resulting a cloth which is brown, black, blue and cream.There are eight columns with four rectangles in each column. The name of the pattern hand waxed above each.
