A circular bamboo plate, piring bambu. A shallow concave plate woven from strips of bamboo in a twill weave, the edges of the main body are held in place by a circular frame of wider strips of bamboo attached to the body by narrow strips of bamboo. These strips are bound round the frame at regular intervals and run along underneath the outside of the basket in between.
