One half of an embroidered sleeve from a Serbian woman's outer garment. The decoration consists of three crosses, each within a circular motif. Other small-scale motifs worked in predominantly red, purple and pink wools link the circular motifs together. A label sewn onto the textile reads: 'Kosovo Polje, south Serbia. (Note characteristic cross always worked in peasant embroidery from the Kosovo district.)'
